Day to day itinerary


Day 1 – Hometown / Shanghai

Fly from hometown by West Jet to Vancovuer or Toronto, then connect by China Eastern Airlines flight to Shanghai.

Day 2  – Arriving Shanghai

Cross the International Date Line and arrive in Shanghai, China’s most populous city and seaport. You will be greeted by your local guide and transferred to hotel to rest for the adventures set for the next day.

Day 3  – Shanghai

After breakfast, explore Shanghai Museumand the People’s Square and along the “Bund”, then tour the Yuyuan Bazaar, Pudong Development Zone, and take a closer look of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Visit the famous Nanjing Road shopping street. Huangpu River Night Cruise could be arranged as an optional tour at night. ( B / L / D )

Day 4 – Shanghai ~ Zhujiajiao (Water Village) ~ Suzhou

Today, visit the XinTianDi – replica of old Shanghai. Take an excursion to Zhujiajiao (Water Village). Take a ride to Suzhou, a city famous for its canals, stone bridges, and pagodas. Enjoy a China Welcome Dinner.  ( B / L / SD )

Day 5 – Suzhou

Explore the Suzhou Museum, and Lingering Garden, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a Suzhou Canal Cruise. Visit the Xumen Gate, and a silk factory. Experience the city nightlife with a Suzhou Night Tour. ( B / L / D )

Day 6 – Suzhou ~ Shanghai / Wuhan ~ Yichang ~ Yangtze River Cruise

Today, return to Shanghai for your flight to Wuhan. Hop on a ride to Yichang. In the evening, board the deluxe cruise ship MV President No.7/8 to catch every splendid and amazing moment along the Yangtze River. ( B / L / D )

Day 7 – Yangtze River Cruise

Take a shore excursion at Sandouping takes you to “Three Gorges Dam”, the biggest hydroelectric dam in the world. Return to the ship and sail through the Three Gorges Dam Ship locks and the first gorge – Xiling Gorge, the longest and the most hazardous one in the famous “Three Gorges”. Tonight, enjoy a Captain’s Welcome Dinner.  ( B / L / SD )

Day 8 – Yangtze River Cruise

Begin your day with an excursion to Shennong Stream, which takes you almost 20 miles of cascading waterfalls, steep cliffs, karst caves, three-colored springs. Return to the cruise ship again and set sail through the second gorge – Wu Gorge, known for its odd, misty rock formations and its backdrop of soaring mountains. Later in the afternoon, you will pass the third gorge – Qutang Gorge, the shortest but the most dramatic Gorges with ancient relics scattered along its steep cliffs. Day 9 – Yangtze River Cruise

After breakfast, take a shore excursion to visit the Shibaozhai Temple, a gem of Chinese Architecture located in Zhong County, at the south bank of the Yangtze River. Enjoy Captain’s Farewell Banquet followed by a Gathering Party at night. ( B / L / SD )

Day 10 – Arriving Chongqing (Overnight)

After breakfast, disembark the cruise at Chongqing. You will have a city tour in Chongqing including Chongqing Zoo for lovely Pandas and Huguang Guild Hall, a 200-year old architectural complex. Special Sichuan Style Lunch will be served. Free afternoon or an optional tour to enjoy the fantastic Chongqing by Night with Hot Pot dinner.  ( B / L )

Day 11 – Chongqing / Xi’an

Day 12 – Xi’an

Another unforgettable full day tour begins with the excavation of more than 6,000 Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses and Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Reproduction Factory on the way. For lunch, enjoy the Handmade Noodle as you watching a noodle-making show. Transfer to hotel, and have a free afternoon. Dinner by your own arrange. ( B / L )

Day 13 – Xi’an / Beijing

Visit the historic Little Goose Pagoda and Big Goose Pagoda Square and a jade workshop. Take afternoon flight to Beijing, the Capital of China.  ( B / L / D )

Day 14 – Beijing

Spend an inspiring day at the Great Wall (Juyong Pass). Enjoy your walk along its ramparts, and absorb the breath-taking views. Then tour around the Summer Palace for an enchanting panorama of lake, landscape, pagodas, and pavilions. On the way back, have a closer look at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Stadium (the Bird’s Nest & the Water Cube), and visit a tea house en route. Day 15 – Beijing

Explore the heart of Beijing from Tian’anmen Square – the largest public square in the world. Standing as the largest existing ancient architectural complex in China, the Forbidden City will be sure to amaze you. Take a Rickshaw Tour around the ancient alleyways of Hutong – one of Beijing’s 700-year-old traditional cottage neighborhoods. You can visit a family in one of the “Quadrangles”. Then, visit a pearl workshop. Tonight, enjoy a Farewell Peking Duck Dinner.   ( B / L / SD )

Day 16 – Beijing (Free Day)

Enjoy a free day in this beautiful city. Free one way transfer to local shopping area will be arranged. Lunch and dinner will be by your own arrangement.  ( B )

Day 17 – Beijing / Hometown (via Shanghai)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to depart for Canada, and arrive home on the same day.  ( B )

Day 17 - Shanghai / Hong Kong

Fly to Hong Kong, the Pearl of the East. Upon arrival, transfer to Hotel. Free to explore the exciting city.  ( B )

Day 18 - Hong Kong (Half Day Tour)

A half-day tour to Victoria Peak by cable car, visit Stanley Market, Repulse Bay and Aberdeen Fishing Village. Discover this dynamic city on your own in the afternoon.  ( B )

Day 19 - Hong Kong (Free Day)

Enjoy this free day by exploring Hong Kong or go shopping. Or an Optional Tour to Macau ( C$180 per person including ferry ticket and Buffet Lunch ) by ferry, touring the Statue of Kun Lam, and the territory of Macau; visiting the Ruins of St. Paul’s, Na Tcha Temple, a section of Old City Walls, Museum of Macau, Mount Fortress, Temple of A-Ma, Macau Tower, and Casino sights.  ( B )

Day 20 - Hong Kong / Hometown (Via Shanghai)

After breakfast, transfer to airport and depart for Canada. You will arrive home on the same day.  ( B )
